What is paradeeNet?

paradeeNet is a personal pet-project i'm going to be working on. It's essentialy going to be my own little paradee of self-made internet sites, most of it parodying the lack of uniform and standards the old emerging internet was known for alongside some pokes at long-dead software contreverseies nobody has cared for in a long time.

How do i navigate it?

Navigating is done through the use of the search bar in your browser. while i do intend to eventualy add a search bar function build into the site proper, i am not skilled enough for that right now.

anything you'd like to go to within paradeeNet can be found if the page exists. all pages are contained in uniform with their subdomain label, which is clarified with the below example:

paradeenet.neocities.org/microbyte

If your familiar enough with the subpages in the respective directory, that will also work too provided the page hasnt been relocated or removed.

What is under development?

As of writing, im working on a select couple of inital pages. and considering that nobody is going to be familiar with the existing sites just yet, they have been provided below as a clickable hyperlink:

15/10/2024 - October 15th 2024 - Aimless progress, and a new domain

Got bored when i woke up on my day off, and eventualy found myself working on this again. got some new directories up and started putting up the first ads that take you to misc pages. it's slowly coming together but deveopment on this is going to be slow, its a given. however, i'd like to personaly thank hobbyist.neocities.org for being the first person to follow this project.

Anyway, i need to continue work on the websites, i've got fat stacks of paint.net open, video editors, and 4 different instances of the same website code window i keep forgetting about.

EDIT: The name didnt really fit what i was going for anymore, so i've relocated the entire site to paradeenet.neocities.org. a redirection page is in place of nexusnet for the time being.

14/10/2024 - October 14th 2024 - Shifting Tone

It's not even been more than 4 hours since i started this and it's already turning into a parody site, haha. might just keep it that way, ill see how i feel about it over time.

13/10/2024 - October 13th 2024 - paradeeNet is now Online!

As of writing i have just opend up the site, and i am begining to wrap up on the intial '/paradeenet' welcome page, and will follow up with structuring out the site's directories and importing some inital pages and graphics to put my foot in the door.

I hope i retain motivation for this project, and i hope it becomes a messy web of cheesy and poorly-centered webpages i can look back on and entertain some of you that catch my cold sense of humor.

I'm still tinkering with getting custom fonts working, the .css woff method has not worked due to my inability to figure it out. i am still very ametur in html and css stuff though, it will take time to impliment.
